You Hold the Key to My Heart - Make Over

Good Day!  I hope you are all doing well.  It is a beautiful spring day here.  The sun is shinning brightly and the sky is a brillant blue.  The cats are loving looking out the windows.  They are enjoying watching the birds and the squirrels.

I am sharing a card that I remade.  The original card was really sad.  I should of taken a before picture to post - but I really didn't like it.

Butterflies are really popular now.  I found this gorgeous ribbon with the butterflies and post marks at my local craft store.  Not sure which one, either Hobby Lobby or Michaels.  Both are wonderful stores and have weekly coupons for 40% off. The coupons are easily found on their websites to be printed off as you need them.   I never buy anything from them without a coupon.

The original card had too much going on.  Also, I had tried my hand at paper flowers.  While they turned out it was just too much for a card, especially if you plan on sending it through the USPS. Anything over a 1/4" costs extra.

The designer papers are from the Recollections All Season Paper Pad.  The green and silver papers are from my left over pieces of paper scrap stash.  I fussy cut the butterfly out of  the designer paper and mounted it on a heavy card stock so I could use foam tape to pop it up and off of the page.

I finished off the inside with the same designer paper to give it a nice sunny feeling.  Looking at the picture reminds me I need to take some ink to the edges.  The white card is too blaring white against the green.

Thank you for visiting.  I hope you enjoyed my card and was able to draw some inspiration from it.
Take care and have a wonderful day!
